it's nothing but good news for kids to have a good  "introductory" type open world game so they can fall in love with them as much as i am.

I'd probably check this game out, but Luigi's Mansion 2 takes priority for me.

One of the great things about past Lego games is that you could pick who you wanted to play as. A racial minority? We gotcha covered. A woman? Go right ahead. Hell, you don't even need to be human! I feel like this game is a step-down to what these games were offering seven and a half years. Why can't my character be a wise-cracking racial minority or woman (is that a distinct white male trait or something)? I get to be a white male every day and in almost every game; give me some perspective/variance, or at least give me the option.

wow, you entirely missed the point of this game. it's ment to be a take on the old cheesey 80's-90's detective movies. so of course it's going to be a white male and you are looking way too deep into a lego game. all you are doing is trying to make yourself sound like this intellectual person when really all you are doing is making yourself to look like a jack ass :P

Just because children may play BO2 does not make it a game for children.  Legos as a brand is meant for children.  The E for everyone means it has content that would be acceptable for all ages, but legos are directed as a childrens toy

all i can tell you is that not one adult that has ever existed has ever gotten upset or wanted to argue when somebody tells them something they are playing is a kids game.

i have played piles of them and when somebody comments on it being kiddy i say yep and just play the game.

in the end what i am glad for here is that kids get to play a gta clone because then they can get to like open world type games as much as i do and the demand for open world will stay high which helps me.
